My name is Billy Kangas, and I am the primary writer and editor of Orant.  I live in Chicago with my wife and son! I work for a coffee shop in Chicago called ipsento and love to write about my coffee life at another blog I have called Mug Life.

I am originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan but moved to Chicago to attend North Park Theological Seminary. I am still a student there working on my MDiv.

I am also working at Hope Covenant Church in Crystal Lake, IL
